Aloha nui kākou,
I'm a singer-songwriter who was born and raised on Maui. My mother started teaching me piano and fundamental music theory when I was about five years old as a part of my homeschooling program. After a few years of Suzuki method study, I lost interest in music until I went into 808 UkeJams when I was 10 years old, when I met my first Kumu (teacher) and group leader. He helped me rediscover my love of music by playing Hawaiian music on the ukulele, which I still cherish today. I like to play Hawaiian music, contemporary island music, and my own creative compositions encompassing all of the above on the ukulele and 12 and 6 string slack-key guitar. I love what I do, and I love how my music can influence people's lives.
