“Anthony Pfluke is a refreshingly bright triple-starred constellation of extraordinary voice, impeccable musicianship, and insightful songwriting.”
-Shane Adams President – Artist Accelerator
Nā Hōkū Hanohano Finalist, Anthony Pfluke has been called Maui’s hottest new talent.
He plays Hawaiian, contemporary, reggae-influenced, and his own original songs, and whether playing for an intimate wedding ceremony or a festival audience, his performances are both exhilarating and inspiring. He accompanies his moving vocals with adroit musicianship on ‘ukulele and slack key guitar, bringing a full sound with his live looping.
In the last year, he recorded a new, all-original album, We Will Rise, singles from which can be heard in rotation on KPOA and Q103. The album was nominated for a Hoku award. He was also featured at the first Drive In Concert series at the MACC, as well as MACC dates, including a livestream from the Castle Theater.
He plays weekly at venues such as Nalu’s and Fleetwoods. He was commissioned by Kimokeo Kapahulehua to write a song for the launch of Mo‘okiha O Pi‘ilani, Maui’s own traditional Hawaiian voyaging canoe. He is one of the Aloha ambassadors for the Lei of Aloha and has released a single of his “Ku’u Lei Aloha,” the first of two songs he’s written to accompany the Lei of Aloha on its various journeys of healing around the world.
Anthony can be booked with his dynamic solo act, or as a duo, trio or full band, as well as for lessons. He teaches beginning to advanced ‘ukulele, beginning to intermediate slack key guitar, and beginning standard guitar.

“I first heard Anthony Pfluke while judging the 2013 Ukulele Contest at Hula Grill where he was one of the participants. Since then, I’ve watched his talent grow into one of the shakers and movers of the next generation of Hawaiian music. Since the 2015 Hula Grill Fall contest, I have taken Anthony under my wing and mentored him directly about the business of music, Teaching him Hawaiian Songs and Slack Key guitar. In return, Anthony and his mom Anastasia come to our farm and help us plant, water, weed, mulch and fertilize over 200 varieties of fruits, veggies, herbs, and plants in our farm. Anthony has also participated on stage with me at several community events and has covered some community gigs for me as well. He tries very hard, has a great voice, and is serious about his music and learning. His greatest asset is his enthusiasm for having fun and his “Hiki No” or “can do” approach to life and his ability to create great music. It is an honor to mentor him. Sometimes I forget that he is still a 15 year old because he already plays and sings like a pro.”
“We had the pleasure of witnessing the stellar talent of Anthony Pfluke at our Hawaiian cultural event, Moku’ula by Moonlight in Lahaina. Already an artist to be watched, Anthony exudes professionalism and outstanding musicianship on stage. His songs emerge from the soul as further proof that aloha comes from within.”

“We loved the way you taught including the different strums and the runs and specific solo. Learned so much from just one song.”
